Maid-Rite Workers Seek Third Circuit Revival of Covid-19 Suit

A group of anonymous Maid-Rite Specialty Foods workers will appeal the dismissal of their workplace virus safety lawsuit against OSHA to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

The plaintiffs had sought an order compelling the Occupational Safety and Health Administration to address allegedly “imminently dangerous” working conditions exposing them to Covid-19 at the Dunmore, Pa., meat processing plant.
