The panel in a final order released Friday found that Louisiana-Pacific didn’t violate Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements for protecting workers from moving machine parts.
Also dismissed by the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission was a proposed $13,653 fine.
The case stems from a May 2021 accident at Louisiana-Pacific’s Thomasville, Ala., plant that manufactures wooden panels.
