Labor Solicitor Wraps Four Decades of Defending Worker Safety

Ann Rosenthal found a small card dating back to one of her first cases while sorting through the papers she’s held onto for 40 years as a Department of Labor attorney.

“I just came across a florist card for some roses that were sent to me by the first whistleblower case I took. We won,” Rosenthal recalled in an interview with Bloomberg Environment.

On June 29, Rosenthal leaves the Department of Labor’s Office of the Solicitor where she has spent 40 years handling worker safety and health cases.
