Interim Head Juliann Sum Named Chief of Cal/OSHA

After serving 15 months as interim head of the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health (Cal/OSHA), Juliann Sum is now the agency’s appointed chief, Gov. Jerry Brown announced Dec. 3. “I am grateful for the opportunity as division chief to maintain and enhance safe workplaces and practices for workers and employers in California,” Sum said after her swearing in.
