An Illinois roofing contractor has been cited for three willful and four serious violations and proposed penalties of $278,452 for exposing workers to fall hazards, according to the Labor Department Thursday.
Occupational Safety and Health Administration inspectors found that employees of Elmer Miller, operating as Miller Building Systems LLC, were standing, climbing, and walking on roofs, beam, and top plates without any protection.
