Husky Energy Urged to Halt Toxic Acid Use After Wisconsin Blast

Husky Energy Inc. faces new pressure to change operations at a Wisconsin refinery that blew up last week as two mayors of nearby cities urged the company to abandon using a chemical they say could have made the explosion much worse.

Husky Energy’s refinery in Superior, Wis., exploded April 26, injuring several employees, as workers were preparing to close the facility for five weeks of maintenance.
