Heat Treating Services Company Fined $181,000 After Electrocution

A subsidiary of a Wisconsin-based industrial heat treating company faces $181,662 in penalties following an investigation into the electrocution of an employee.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration June 28 issued 21 serious health and safety violations against Hudapack Metal Treating of Illinois Inc. and proposed fines of $181,662. The Illinois company is a subsidiary of Elkhorn, Wis.-based Hudapack Metal Treating Inc., which provides industrial clients with a range of specialized heat treating services.
