Georgia Workers Allegedly Subjected to Elevated Arsenic Exposure

OSHA has proposed $124,780 in penalties and issued citations alleging nine serious violations by Arch Wood Protection Inc.—as well as $53,574 in proposed penalties and citations alleging four serious violations issued to Mullins Mechanical & Welding LLC—related to hazards at a wood treatment chemical manufacturing facility in Conley, Ga., the Labor Department said Tuesday.
