A Southern California frozen food manufacturer and a temporary staffing agency were cited for failing to protect hundreds of workers from the coronavirus, the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health said Wednesday.
The citations follow inspections at two Vernon, Calif., plants operated by Overhill Farms Inc. and staffed by workers from Jobsource North America Inc., Cal/OSHA said. Overhill produces frozen food products for food service, branded retail, and private label customers.
