A South Dakota electrical contractor is facing $159,798 in proposed safety fines for allegedly failing to protect workers from possible asbestos exposure at an Iowa work site.
The Iowa Occupational Safety and Health Administration issued three willful violations to Tea, S.D.-based Fink Electric Inc. for allegedly not informing employees of the presence, location, and quantity of asbestos at a Sioux City, Iowa, job site.
