Failing to protect construction workers from falls continues to be the most common hazard that OSHA inspectors are citing employers for.
The fiscal year 2022 top 10 violations of Occupational Safety and Health Administration rules were released Tuesday at the National Safety Council Congress in San Diego.
Although the fiscal year doesn’t end until Sept. 30, the agency doesn’t expect the rankings to change.
The general fall protection rule covers a wide range of hazards, from not erecting barriers at ledges to not equipping workers with harnesses or covering large holes in floors.
