Dollar Tree Settles With OSHA, To Pay $825,000 Fine

In the wake of dozens of inspections that found violations at its stores, Dollar Tree Inc. and OSHA have reached a settlement calling for the retailer to pay a $825,000 fine and implement a safety and health program covering the company’s approximately 2,400 stores, the Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration announced Dec. 10.

The agreement also closes 13 inspection cases Dollar Tree was appealing to the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission.
