Dollar Tree Stores Inc. faces a new round of alleged worker safety violations, this time with proposed fines totaling $898,682, the Department of Labor announced Sept. 19.
“Dollar Tree Stores has a history of exposing their employees to safety and health hazards,” Loren Sweatt, OSHA’s acting administrator, said in a written statement.
Racking up the fines were Dollar Tree outlets in four Idaho cities—Boise, Caldwell, Meridian, and Nampa, according to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The stores were initially inspected during April in response to complaints.
