Dollar Tree Stores Inc. has been hit with willful and repeat safety citations and a $296,861 fine for allegedly blocking exits and creating storage hazards at a Bethlehem, Pa., store.
Responding to a complaint, Occupational Safety and Health Administration inspectors also found unsecured compressed helium cylinders, unsanitary bathrooms, and electrical panels not properly maintained, according to a March 3 statement.
