Dollar General Faces $580,000 Fine for Two Stores’ Blocked Exits

Dollar General Corp. faces $580,108 in combined proposed penalties after OSHA inspectors cited two stores in Wisconsin and Ohio for allegedly endangering employees with blocked exits, according to the agency Friday.

Occupational Safety and Health Administration inspectors responded to a referral from local fire officials and allegedly found emergency exit doors closed and padlocked on the inside with a bike lock and board at a store located in Baldwin, Wis.
