Dollar General faces citations for four alleged willful and seven repeat violations and $1,292,783 in proposed penalties after three recent inspections of Georgia locations, the US Labor Department said Monday.

Inspectors with the US Occupational Health and Safety Administration found receiving areas that weren’t clean and orderly, materials stacked in an unsafe manner, and hazards that exposed workers to slips, trips and being struck by objects, the department said.

Dollar General has 15 business days from receipt of its citations and penalties to comply, request an informal conference with OSHA’s area director, or contest the findings.
