The U.S. Department of Labor is suing two North Texas dentists and their practice for allegedly retaliating against two workers who expressed concerns about what coronavirus safety measures would be in place when the office reopened.
Defendants Roger and David Bohannan, and Roger H. Bohannan, DDS Inc., furloughed workers after the state of Texas prohibited some dental procedures at the height of the pandemic. While furloughed, hygienist Lynnette Gonzalez and dental assistant Debbie Simek inquired about the office’s planned Covid-19 safety measures.
