ConAgra Foods Inc. must pay $109 million to indemnify an engineering firm in connection with an explosion at one of its facilities where four people were killed, the Nebraska Supreme Court ruled.
The Sept. 14 ruling affirmed a jury verdict on behalf of the engineering firm, Jacobs Engineering Group Inc., in a lawsuit it filed to recover what it had paid out in settlements to workers affected by the blast.
