The sole current member and chair of the U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board told a House subcommittee that she would ensure the agency remains non-political after President Joe Biden’s three nominees gain Senate confirmation and join the investigatory body.

Chairwoman Katherine Lemos said so during a House Energy and Commerce Oversight and Investigations subcommittee hearing on Wednesday.
