Amazon Should Address Injuries at Warehouses, Lawmakers Say

Massachusetts lawmakers say they’re concerned about Amazon’s response to questions about what they say is a “high rate of serious injuries” among workers at its warehouses.

• Senators Elizabeth Warren and Ed Markey and Representative Joe Kennedy say the company “seems unwilling to address the root causes of high injury rates at their warehouses, or acknowledge a link between productivity demands and injuries”
• The lawmakers release a letter from Amazon where the company says it strongly refutes claims that it has misled anyone about injury risks at its fulfillment center in Fall River, Massachusetts
