Young Living Gets Essential Oil Deception Suit Tossed, for Now

A consumer failed to adequately allege warranty, fraud, and other claims under New York law related to Young Living Essential Oils LC’s marketing and sale of “therapeutic-grade” oils and blends, a federal court in the state ruled.

But purchaser Lori MacNaughten may seek to file a revised version of her proposed class complaint, Judge Brenda K. Sannes said Thursday for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York.
