Xtend Muscle-Building Supplement Deceptively Marketed, Suit Says

Woodbolt Distribution LLC, which does business as Nutrabolt, deceptively markets muscle-building dietary supplements that can’t do what they promise, according to a new proposed class suit in federal court in New York.

Jon Seiger alleged he bought Nutrabolt Xtend BCAA—branched chain amino acid—workout supplements based on the company’s representations that the powder products would “support muscle growth,” and “support recovery.”

The sale of BCAAs as nutritional supplements has become a multi-million dollar business, the suit alleges.

Seiger bought the powder supplements several times, paying about $30 per container.
