Widow Jane Distilleries LLC didn’t fool customers into thinking its Widow Jane Bourbon was distilled in New York with limestone mineral water, a federal court in New York said, throwing out a proposed class suit against the Brooklyn distillery.
The label on the bottle Marc Boshnack bought in January 2018 said, “Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey Aged 7 Years In American Oak” and “Pure Limestone Mineral Water From the Widow Jane Mine - Rosendale, NY.”
