Walmart isn’t liable for the death of a Texas woman who allegedly died in a store parking lot after huffing 60 cans of aerosol dust-remover purchased at the store during nine separate trips over a 27-hour period.
The retailer, which has faced other huffing-related death suits in other states, didn’t owe Karalee Alaine Williams, 24, a duty under Texas law to keep her from abusing the dust spray, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit said.
