Trampoline Park Maker Hit with $30M Paralysis Lawsuit

A Utah trampoline manufacturer and a Virginia amusement park should pay $30 million for spinal injuries suffered by a youngster, a recently filed lawsuit claims.

David Simon’s suit, filed April 18 in Virginia Circuit Court, contends his son was severely injured because Trampoline Parks LLC manufactured a dangerously defective product and Flight Springfield misrepresented the safety of trampolining on its park website.

The suit is the latest over dangers posed by trampolines and popular trampoline parks across the nation.

Simon’s son was paralyzed when he landed awkwardly at the park in Springfield, Va., according to the complaint.
