Toblerone Suit: New Shape Shortchanges Consumers

Toblerone fans first took to social media to express indignation at the iconic chocolate bar’s new shape, with bigger valleys between the triangular peaks.

Then came a lawsuit.

Mondelez Global LLC shortchanges Toblerone consumers by downsizing products while keeping the suggested price the same, according to a suit removed March 10 to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri (Horton v. Mondelez Global, LLC, W.D. Mo., No. 17-00174, removed 3/10/17).
