A Texas family who link their son’s brain damage to heavy metals in Hain Celestial Group Inc.'s baby food urged a federal appeals court to reinstate their suit.

Grant and Sarah Palmquist sued Hain and retailer Whole Foods Market Inc. They alleged their son Ethan met developmental milestones until he was nearly 3, when he regressed in all areas of development and became unable to communicate.
