Taylor Energy Co. LLC is barred from proceeding with a suit challenging the federal government’s attempt to recoup $43 million for responding to a hurricane-related oil spill from the company’s facility in the Gulf of Mexico, a Louisiana federal court said, citing a lack of subject matter jurisdiction.
None of the actions cited in the complaint amount to a reviewable agency action under the Administrative Procedure Act, according to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
