The personal representative of a woman allegedly exposed to asbestos from her husband’s work clothes failed to prove his exposure to particular products caused her mesothelioma, a Pennsylvania appeals court held Oct. 3 in an unpublished opinion (Haldaman v. Eaton Corp., Pa. Super. Ct., 1170 EDA 2012, 10/3/14).
The plaintiff’s evidence shows that, in general, asbestos-containing products were present in the workplace while Ray Haldaman worked there, and that he may have been around the products when they created dust, the Superior Court of Pennsylvania said.
