Mazda won dismissal of some claims by consumers who allege their cars lost value because they were equipped with Takata air bags containing a deadly propellant (In re Takata Air Bag Prod. Liab. Litig., 2016 BL 191688, S.D. Fla., 15-2599, 6/15/16).
Three would-be class plaintiffs raised some 11 claims against the automaker.
