Smitty’s, Cam2 Tractor Fluid Multistate Class Claims Trimmed

Tractor owners who allege they are owed money for “worthless” Smitty’s Supply Inc. and Cam2 International LLC hydraulic fluid they bought have standing to sue for damages and can proceed on some claims in their multistate proposed class suit, a federal court in Missouri ruled.

The consumers also adequately pleaded damage to their farming equipment, Judge Stephen R. Bough said for the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri. The decision was entered in the docket Wednesday.
