Six Flags Sued for Charging Fees During Coronavirus Shut Down

Six Flags Theme Parks Inc. was hit with a proposed class action by season pass holders alleging they’re being charged monthly fees while the company’s parks are shut down due to the coronavirus.

The plaintiffs allege they are being assessed membership fees while Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, Calif., and Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, Calif., remain closed.

The parks announced March 13, 2020, that they were closing the two parks, but continued charging thousands of customers monthly fees at full price, the complaint alleges.
