Appliance maker SharkNinja Operating LLC was hit with a lawsuit alleging the company sold a defective pressure cooker that exploded and severely burned a woman.
Despite the company’s representations that the device has 14 safety features, the pressure cooker was defectively and negligently designed, according to the complaint filed April 2 in the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
