Sergeant’s Natural Pet Products Allegedly Contain Toxic Oils

Perrigo unit Sergeant’s Pet Care Products, Inc. deceptively touts a line of “natural” flea and tick repellants as safe for pets because they contain toxic essential oils that can sicken and even kill them, a new class complaint alleges.

Sentry Natural Defense products are marketed as “safe to use around children and pets” and “Veterinarian Tested” to attract high-end consumers looking for holistic or natural treatments, the suit filed Nov. 15 alleges.
