Sequel Naturals Fails to Shed Protein Powder Slack-Fill Suit

Sequel Naturals ULC and Vega US LLC must continue defending most of a proposed class suit alleging they trick customers with oversized containers of protein powder.

Rebecca Padilla and Kimberly Owens stated a plausible claim that the companies’ Vega and Greens protein powder was deceptively packaged because it took up less than half the capacity of the containers, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California said July 26.
