An environmental advocacy group says in a new lawsuit that a Santa Fe, N.M., city ordinance related to wireless communications will allow the proliferation of dangerous 5G radiofrequency emissions.
The Santa Fe Alliance for Public Safety and Health, along with two individual plaintiffs, also names the state of New Mexico and the U.S. government in its lawsuit.
The plaintiffs say radiofrequency (RF) radiation from cell towers has injured them. They filed the lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico Dec. 21.
They allege procedural roadblocks prevent them from opposing telecommunications infrastructure development.
