Royal Caribbean Investor Drops Lawsuit Over Virus Disclosures

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. is free of a would-be class suit over some of its pandemic statements after the lead plaintiff told a federal court in Florida it’s dropping the case without prejudice.

Investors accused the cruise company of misleading them about the true extent of the coronavirus’s negative impact on its business. Indiana Public Retirement System, the pension fund picked as lead plaintiff in December, is voluntarily dismissing, according to a notice Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
