Roundup $39.5 Million Consumer Deal Gets Final OK (Correct)

A $39.5 million nationwide Roundup class settlement resolving allegations that Bayer AG unit Monsanto deceived consumers about the weed killer’s health risks won final approval by a federal court in Missouri.

The deal, approved Thursday by Judge Beth Phillips of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, entitles claimants to recover 50% of the average retail amount paid for Roundup and includes potential label changes.
