Rockefeller Center Owner Settles Ticket Dispute for $1.1 Million

Tishman Speyer Properties LP, the real estate company that owns Rockefeller Center, agreed to pay $1.1 million to settle claims it illegally failed to disclose a $5 processing fee for events at the building.

The parties on Monday asked the US District Court for the Southern District of New York to preliminarily approve the all-cash deal.

The lawsuit alleged the undisclosed fee attached to tickets for experiences at the building violated the 2022 New York Arts and Cultural Affairs Law. The law requires entertainment ticket sellers to disclose all fees upfront.
