Vital Pharmaceuticals Inc. deceptively promotes its Redline XTreme Energy Drink as proven to increase energy and mental focus, but the product is associated with adverse health effects, a Massachusetts woman alleges in a proposed class suit (Mark v. Vital Pharm. Inc., D. Mass., 14-14148, complaint filed 11/12/14).

Redline exposes consumers to undisclosed levels of caffeine, and a dangerous combination of other ingredients, Jenna K. Mark alleged in her Nov. 12 complaint in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
