A rule establishing safety standards for high-powered magnets was supported by substantial evidence, a federal appeals court said Monday.
The US Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit said Magnetsafety.org and hobby industry associations misinterpreted the Consumer Product Safety Commission’s data analysis underpinning the rule. The court also said the commission’s structure was constitutional.
