Porsche Infotainment Glitch Class Settlement Gets First Approval

Porsche Cars NA Inc. and drivers who alleged a software update damaged their cars’ infotainment systems got the first green light for a class settlement that will reimburse the drivers for up to $7,500 each in repair costs.

The settlement, preliminarily approved Wednesday by Judge Mark H. Cohen of the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, brings a two-year-old lawsuit closer to resolution.
