Poland Spring Water Label Suit Against Nestlé Mostly Advances

Nestlé Waters North America Inc., now known as Blue Triton Brands Inc., must keep defending most claims in a false-ad suit over Poland Spring bottled water, after a federal court in Connecticut denied much of its motion to shorten the window of liability for the case.

Consumers from various states alleged in a proposed class action that Nestlé marketed Poland Spring as “100% Natural Spring Water” even though it didn’t come from natural springs.
