Seven proposed class actions alleging Plycem USA and its affiliates sold cement siding products prone to premature failure will be consolidated in federal court in South Carolina.
All the suits allege Allura and Maxitile fiber cement siding products tend to “crack, peel, warp, and break off soon after installation,” the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation said April 2.
