Pirate’s Booty Snack Bags Underfilled, Suit Says

Bags of Pirate’s Booty Aged White Cheddar appear to contain more of the popular snack food than they actual do, a new class complaint alleges
(Greenstein vs. B&G foods, Inc., C.D. Cal., 17-4839, removed 6/30/17).

David Greenstein alleges that slack-fill in the Pirate’s Booty product is excessive and serves no purpose for the product or consumer other than to mislead consumers.

He seeks monetary damages, and a court order to stop the sale of the snack food in California until the packaging is changed.
