Radio Systems Corp., which manufactures PetSafe electric dog collars, failed to convince a California federal court to dismiss a suit alleging the company’s advertisements failed to disclose possible harms that its products could pose to household pets.
California dog owner Steven Hernandez brought his proposed class action against the PetSafe manufacturer after a veterinarian allegedly identified holes in his dog’s neck that “coincided with the electrode inserts in the PetSafe Products.”
The US District Court for the Central District of California denied Radio System Corp.'s motion to dismiss Hernandez’s second amended complaint (SAC) on Wednesday.
