P&G Wins Bid to Toss Suit Alleging Antiperspirant Caused Cancer

Procter & Gamble won its bid to dismiss a lawsuit by a woman claiming that Secret aerosol antiperspirant caused her triple negative breast cancer, at least for the moment.

The US District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana’s Monday order granted Pamela and Pat Rooney 14 days to amend their complaint to include more detailed allegations linking Pamela Rooney’s cancer to Secret antiperspirant.

Her husband, Pat Rooney, claims loss of consortium.
