Nissan to Recall Vehicles Including Note, Serena in Japan

Nissan Motor announces a recall of car models including the Note, Serena and Leaf in Japan.

• To recall 478,199 Note, Note Aura, Serena, Leaf and Kicks due to a programming issue that could cause cars to suddenly accelerate after exiting cruise control
• To recall 126,800 Serena due to an engine room harness issue that could cause a short circuit and force motors to stop while driving
• To recall 484,025 Note, Serena and Kicks due to insufficient hose protection that could prevent engines from starting
• To recall 6,434 Note Aura due to faulty right headlamp
