The father of a woman thrown from a Nissan Xterra when her seat belt allegedly unlatched due to a defect will likely have information about similar claims at his disposal because a federal district court in South Carolina Aug. 21 compelled Nissan Motor Co. to produce the identities of individuals who filed comparable complaints (Middleton v. Nissan Motor Co., D.S.C., No. 7:10-2529-MGL).
