Nissan North America Oct. 28 announced the voluntary recall of approximately 2.2 million vehicles globally, with approximately 770,000 of the vehicles recalled in North America, to address an electrical control module problem.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said in recall documents that the intelligent power distribution module contains an engine control module (ECM) relay that has a diode for electrical current noise reduction (NHTSA Recall #10V-517).
